ABOUT THE CAMILLO ACTION GROUP
Back in 2012, a group of residents formed a local crime reporting page on Facebook, as a way to begin to combat the actions of a few residents who were beginning to run the suburb into the ground. From the crime page sprung a social page, which enabled residents to make closer community ties, and to support one another in positive ways. The social page became a wonderful tool for making connections between residents young and old, and it soon became apparent that a change was needed in Camillo.
It was from this need for change that the Camillo Action Group emerged, and became the force that it is today. Through the hard work, and tireless efforts of our founding members, the Camillo Action Group became incorporated, and it was able to lead many projects - the most obvious of which is our Community Garden. Through our newest leadership team, and with the sound advice and assistance of the founding members, we hope to continue the changes in the community, and to promote community spirit throughout the suburb of Camillo.

COMMITTEE
CHAIRPERSON - Sherrii
Sherrii has been involved with the various incarnations of the community groups since 2013, and joined the Action Group when it was in its beginning stages. When new leadership was needed, she stepped up to the role, and in 2016 she was officially voted into the role of the Chariperson at the Annual General Meeting. Sherrii is a local of Camillo, and she has been involved with various projects across the time of the group. She is most proud of the community garden, and of her efforts in helping to increase the knowledge about the community group - as well as leading the next generation of committee members to a successful year!

SECRETARY AND GARDEN COORDINATOR - Krystal
Krystal became involved in the community groups beginning with the efforts at cleaning up the Westfield Reserve Wetlands in 2013, and from this progressively became more involved in the community. While not technically belonging to the Camillo suburb, instead residing on its borders, she is still dedicated to improving the area. Krystal took on the role of garden coordinator in early 2016, and became secretary at the most recent Annual General Meeting. The community garden is something that she is most proud of being involved in, as well as the general community spirit that surrounds all of the projects the Action Group undertakes.
